August 7, 2026: Maze Day

 

Maze Day is an opportunity for families with students new to Bowditch to visit campus in advance of the first day of school. You can purchase and pick up your PE kit, PE padlock, meet PTSA team, meet some of the teachers, learn about after school clubs/sports and The Vibe, and get a tour of the school from our older students.   

 

In order to avoid congestion (it can get busy at times), we are asking families to visit Maze Day in the time slots allocated below if practical for your family.  As you arrive, please head straight to the check in desk which will be situated outside the new library where you can pick up a pack which will help you navigate the event.  

 

Maze Day Schedule:

 

6 Grade only (based on first letter of last name)

  • A - I : 9:00am - 10:00am

  • J - R : 10:00am - 11:00am

  • S - Z : 11:00am - 12:00pm

7th and 8th Grade families new to Bowditch, or returning families needing new PE kit/padlock

  • 10:30am - 12:00pm

 

You can purchase your PE kit at Maze Day or if you would like to purchase it in advance, please use the following link and bring a screenshot of the email confirmation with you.  You can choose sizes at Maze Day.  

 

School-issued padlocks are mandatory for PE lockers. The cost of this lock is being covered in full for all NEW students by PTSA.  Returning students who have lost their PE lock from last year will need to purchase a new one in person on Maze Day.

As we get closer to the first day of school, we will be back in touch.  PTSA will send Weekly Bulletin on Sunday evenings via Parent Square starting the Sunday before school. Our Principal, Dr. Goll, will send her weekly message on Thursday afternoons. All school-wide communications will come through Parent Square.  

 

We look forward to welcoming all families back to Bowditch and meeting our new families at Maze Day.

Wednesday, August 12th, 1-7 Bell Schedule (Go to every class)

Thursday, August 13th Periods 1, 3, 5, 7

Friday, Advisory (Same class as first period), and then 2, 4, 6
